Director + Writer + Producer.

Practicing both film and commercial, I seek to tell stories.

I currently write and direct projects, am a Freelance Director and am the co-owner of the commercial agency Flek* and YouTube entertainment channel Garaj Content.

I am the producer of the talk show “Melis İşiten ile Zaten Şov”. In the first year of the show it reached 200k subscribers and has more than 83 million organic views. We also created an omnichannel brand communication platform  with the show and made 9 long-term brand communication deals. The Show is nominated as the Best Dijital Show in Turkey twice by Altın Kelebek and awarded by numerous of prestigious awards.

Recipient of the prestigious Fulbright scholarship, I received my MFA in Film from the City College of New York and graduated as the winner of the Chantal Akerman Student Prize sponsored by The Ostrovsky Family Fund, for his screenplay, Pasaj. Pasaj is granted “Best Short Film in New York” by National Board of Review in 2021. During my masters degree in New York, I was awarded by BAFTA New York  fellowship for my projects and have been writer, director or the producer of several projects in different states. 

Previously, I pursued Psychology at Koç University and completed a double major in Media and Visual Arts. During my academic journey, I moved to Hong Kong, exploring various approaches within the field of Psychology and Media.

In 2021, I returned to Istanbul and co-founded my content agency Flek along with the entertainment channel Garaj Channel Network.
